Being a Sanctuary Church

Sojourn is committed to welcoming and supporting immigrants, regardless of documentation status.

In August of 2017 Sojourn formally adopted the following statement on Sanctuary and Accompaniment. Since then, Sojourn has actively participated in the Interfaith Solidarity and Accompaniment Coalition (ISAAC). You can learn more about ISAAC by visiting their website.

In the fall of 2017, Sojourn members organized the Community Dreamer Fund, which supports undocumented, DACA and asylum seeking high school and collegiate students in Larimer County by seeking to alleviate financial stressors that might otherwise distract students from their education. As of October 2023, the Community Dreamer Fund has supported 173 applicants with over $143,500 in assistance. The Fund continues to grow each academic year. During the 2022-23 school year, the Community Dreamer Fund supported 47 applicants throughout Larimer County and distributed over $41,000 in assistance.
